Gmail expands its capacity to 10 GB
One of the strengths of Gmail has always been available storage space since its launch, about 8 years ago, has been increased from 2 GB to 7.5 GB original. Today Google finally presented its storage service in the cloud, Google Drive , and has given 5 GB of space for our personal files and backups and, indeed, to celebrate the launch Google also expanded our Gmail account up to 10 GB of space.
The announcement, made shortly after submitting Drive, has come through the Gmail blog where in a brief statement announcing the Mountain View in the next 24 hours will increase the store of Gmail users in 2.5 additional GB, ie, rising from 7.5 GB to 10 GB.
If we consider that integrates with Gmail Drive so we can use the storage service as a repository for documents, then we can send from Gmail as email, Gmail users who regularly used as backup space can be passed to Drive and use only your mailbox to store messages without worrying about space constraints.
